europe trip?

should i go to Europe during my school term break? there is a Engineering school trip. we can sign up to go Europe if we want. it cost about SG$3000. i seriously want to go. Europe!! one of my dream coutries to go to! my parents said they would pay $2000 and i will pay the rest $988. is it a good deal??
