came back from Sports Club camp in the early morning. the moment i close my eyes, i fall into deep sleep.
i like this camp. at least the games we played are fresh. didn't come across those games before. also, first time getting dirty with soyasauce, egg, flour, butter, etc.. we had final clash too. but i dislike it. the night race we had was fun! it was from midnight to 6am. each team had to complete 12 stations. luckily the stations are situated near except for 1 station. i like all the 12 stations. most of them totally drain your energy or are like "Fear Factor".
anyway, white team - RA - Really Awesome is really amazing!!

watched "the proposal" i like the show. about romance, courage, and lies. it's so much better than "the ugly truth" quite touching and meaningful. could watch in the cinema. i feel it's worth it.
drank a little Sake and ate horse meat at work. Howard says the horse meat is expensive. a few pieces could cost about $50! but the horse meat is really very juicy and delicious. the Sake is nice too drank 2 different types. one is made from 100% rice while the other... i don't know.
ate Crystal Jade for the first time i like the congee. it's smooth my parents like the 'Cha Shao' meat. they say the fat is less and there's more meat.
watched "Push". it's an old movie. last year's movie if i'm not wrong. i like the show. quite a few twist and turns. but the main thing that makes me like it is due to the plot. quite an exciting story with people having special powers.
watched "Phoebe in Wonderland" it's a meaningful and sad show. Phoebe's parents neglect her due to work. and she, have OCD - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. her parents didn't know about it due to neglecting her. they did not want to face the facts even knowing Phoebe have OCD. anyway, the ending is a nice one.
watched "the last house on the left". now i know why it's M18. the beginning is already cruel. i hate the guy, Justin, in the show. he drag others to drown with him. one of the girls got rape, the other killed, because of him what a guy.. no guts to help the girls fight his gangmates. there are quite a number of disturbing scenes, like stabbing, hammering a person head, etc... of all, i think the worse is to microwave a person's head... the head exploded.. it's sick, gross, horrible!!! so now.. M18 for the show, i think it's reasonable

watched "Final Destination 4" it's totally sick. you just couldn't escape death. you die in all sorts of ways cruel, gory, bloody, whatever sick stuff you can think of. don't ever watch it unless sick stuff excites you.
watched "Jennifer's Body" yesterday that's like some demonic stuff that possessed the main actress, Jennifer - Megan Fox. the ritual performed had somehow failed when she was kidnapped. the ritual requires a virgin, however Jennifer ain't a virgin. hence, the demon was 'trapped' in Jennifer's body and eats boys to make herself beautiful. so well the ending is (highlight below if you wanna know) Jennifer was killed by her bestfriend. her bestfriend gotten some of the demonic power as she was scratched by Jennifer during the fight which killed Jennifer. Jennifer bestfriend was then send to jail. yet, she managed to escape using the demonic powers. then she killed the people who performed the ritual. anyway, to me, it's a stupid show. not worth to watch in the cinema unless you are a fan of Megan Fox...

OH MAN this totally sucks my phone is spoiled!! it barely survives for 24 hours. after charging for overnight, i couldn't use it in the morning... got to bring it back to the singtel retail shop URGHH!!! i hate this. totally!
celebrate my great grandma birthday! i don't know most of the people there... so.. i was very very bored. my mind just kept thinking about the phone i'm going to purchase later.
bought my new phone!!! well.. is it consider buying when i got it for $0?? hahaha!! =D actually i wanted to buy Nokia E63 but well it's expensive! so guess what model? it's LG Viewty KU 990R there's no stock in the main singtel shops all over Singapore. so they told us to find those small singtel retail shops if i really really want the phone. and luckily, i got it at a singtel retail shop located at the Tampines interchange. there're only 2 left and both are baby pink so i took it.
after using, it's quite gooooooooood. it's a touchscreen phone. 5 mega pix camera with numerous cam functions, but colours only 256k. internal memory 60MB i guess with a 2GB memory card.
anyway, hopefully the phone could last me for 21 months before i change it
visited my mum at the hospital. well, actually also to bring her home. she went in yesterday late afternoon and could get discharge today. operation doesn't hurt. it's always after that hurts the most. she's feeling unwell throughout the journey home. hope she gets well soon.
company my CSY for dinner! had a great time chatting. ate banana prata and plaster (egg prata). didn't know the slang for egg prata is plaster. she called me noob. what a name for me. perhaps meeting her again tomorrow only if everything goes well. hope it does! =]
read "Flowers of Algernon" by Daniel Keys the book touched my heart. it's a literature, science fiction book. basically, it revolves about this guy, Charlie Gorden who is a retard. a low IQ of 68 (if i remember correctly). he had friends and others who are always there for him. he was chosen to go through an operation which will increase his intelligence threefolds. a laboratory rat had gone through the operation before that and it was a success. after the operation, Charlie and the lab rat spend moments together and they developed a bond. however, he lost his job and even his friends due to his increased intelligence. unfortunately, the lab rat condition decreases gradually, and Charlie wants to find out why. Charlie did research and discover that the intelligence decreases after a while proportionally to how fast you increase your intelligence. Charlie decided to write everything he knows that is going to happen and hope it will be published. soon, Charlie condition deterioriates.
(spoiler - if you want to know the ending, highlight below) Charlie continues writing, in order to know how his condition will deterioriate. also, he hopes that this will help scientists evaluate about the exepriment they had done. he got back his job and his old friends. yet, not long after, he left for another place as he didn't want his friends and love one to see him being a retard again.

worked few hours today. met another waitress, Nicolette. there may be an outing on Saturday with working peeps!! hopefully we're watching "Gamer". since they are much older, they could purchase the tickets for me. heard that "Gamer" is very VERY fantastic.
watched "Dance Flick" which is something like "Scary Movie". the show is a combination of dance movies. it's stupidly funny and is quite sick just like "The Ugly Truth".
also, i'd watched "The Coffin" yesterday. quite an old movie. not very frightening. it's just telling us that you cannot change the process of life and death. when you're destined to die or get sick, you will.

oh, i've watched "Aliens in the Attic". it's a nice comedy. not worth to watch in the cinemas though. could just get it online or wait for DVDs. as for "District 9" i would just say: Do Not Waste Your Time Watching It. it completely sucks. yea that's the word - sucks. the plot is just too weak and everything just don't make sense. for those who doesn't know about "District 9", it's about some aliens that arrived on Earth and are welcomed to stay. however, there are problems created later with the humans and they were driven to live in slums. something like that.. my advice: Just Don't Watch It.

woke up frigging early (4.45am~) for the yellow ribbon run coordinator. took a cab with Joslyn, LikYong and Joslyn friend. total cost $52+!! i will NEVER take a cab unless it's emergency.
arrived at Changi Village and the sky's still dark. what an early start~ my eyes weigh a tonne. not getting enough sleep =/
a lorry drove us in the Changi Prison began packing the food and beverages for the runners to exchange with their coupons anyway, luckily the day was great. cloudy and rainy.
when the runners arrived at the end point our booth got busy. the food and beverages we packed wasn't enough it was a total mess. we began our last minute packing but the runners came in packs to collect their food and beverages. the queue was long even though there were about 10 counters anyway, i'm super exhausted when our job was done. there are still cartons of bananas, oranges, muffins and drinks left. ate the free breakfast that was provided only about 11am+ brought 2 bunches of bananas home!!!

SATURDAY 5/9
went for my job training from 12-3pm. Taryn, the assistant manager brief me with the basic things i should know. it isn't that crowded during the weekend. it's base on what the manager said. haven't seen the weekdays crowd yet. there are only a few people during my working hours. quite good, at least i am able to manage. Coral, the manager i guess, ask me to continue working from 6-10pm. and oh, LikYong came for the interview today and he got the job too. he will start work from 6-10pm as training. =]
met JunMing, Shaun and MinXiang during my 3-6pm break. supposingly Corinne is coming, but i guess she have something on. after finding and torturing ourselves by companying JunMing to so many shops to search for a suitable skinny, he finally bought it at Peninsula.
ate dinner at Mac. headed back to work. there's quite a crowd for dinner! mostly came for the 8 course dinner - Omakase.
reached home about 11.30pm~? i'm literally physically dead still have to wake up at 4.30am tomorrow for yellow ribbon run coordinator! =/
met Cody and we went to Vivo. slack around then caught a movie. "The Time Traveller's Wife" it's a nice movie. better than GI Joe. Cody and i felt that GI Joe wasn't up to our standard, and that The Time Traveller's Wife is so much better. it's quite touching and it's a romance movie. i would say the book is so much better though. but the show catch the main parts in the book so it's still kinda good. maybe 7.5/10? i'll watch "My sister's Keeper" soon.
i don't know why i'm saying this. it doesn't make much sense for now. i got a feeling that i would be the one who will upset you first =/ i hope this doesn't come true...

anyway the stay in Taiwan was fantastic! i think 4 days is just enough.
took JetStar. first time taking some Budget carrier =/ small and a little squeezy.. feel uncomfortable like i'm squeezed. i think it's just my mentality.
first 2 days stayed at Sheraton Hotel. this 5 star hotel is fabulous! the bed, the toilet and whatever is just great! but the next 2 days stayed at some 3 star hotel. not that good but at least it met our needs.
the weather is just like Singapore June weather. freaking HOT! about 30 degrees celcius even at night!
ok.. i will only blog about the bestest things i've seen or experience there.
1st day: Shilin Market - night market that sells lots of fooooood. the fried chicken is great. it's like our PasaMalam. the chicken is big! but theirs is hot as they'd just fried. it's juicy and the flour isn't very thick either. our PasaMalam chicken isn't hot or juicy and the chicken they fried seems like it's been put there for days.. there are a lot of clothes, bags, shades, sold nearby the Shilin Market. just like our Bugis street. but the price is so much cheaper. there are some little food stalls too.
also, there are interesting games at the night market we don't see at our PasaMalam. like catching fish, some MahJong games, etc.. i like the fish game!!! only if our PasaMalam have it then it'll be great! i will definitely play it.

2nd day: ate at some shop house. the dumpling and noodles are delicious. i like the dumpling. it's big and the pork in it is tasty! took their train to some museum and to the place where JayChou took that "不能说的秘密". bought the famous 阿婆铁蛋. the egg is chewy. the outer layer of the egg is tough and hard to chew. ate 冰糖葫芦. i like it! it's sweet =]

3rd day: went to a temple. then to the 自由广场. ate lunch at the first 鼎泰蘴 shop before there were many outlets over the world. took a free shuttle bus to the Taipei 101. ate dinner at a restaurant. quite expensive. 1500 Taiwan dollar per meal which include soup, maincourse, dessert, fruits, drinks. everything is just very very tasty and i think it's worth it.
4th day:
walked around the place we stayed.
went to their wet market.
i think that it is a bit disgusting.
a stall selling clothes could be right beside to a stall selling raw fish and meat.
walked at their underground shopping malls.
i think our CityHall, CityLink is so much better.
the quality of the goods doesn't really match with the price.
