silly me to get a paper cut yesterday

SATURDAY POST (27/6)

we were late, bus left for science centre.

boarded the 2nd bus - Darren's car.

fortunately Paul wasn't furious as we wore gorgeously.

went there as student supporters.

2 TP teams participated in the competition.

one gotten COP the other won the 3rd prize, $2,500.

first prize was $10,000 and NUS High got it!!

anyway the competition was something about satellites.

went to town from science centre to celebrate Danielle's birthday.

LikYong, Chris, Ismail, Danielle and i went to CityHall first.

Leonard then met us there.

gave her the 'counterfeit' watch (cost $5).

she was amazed at it.

i told her that 9 of us shared the price. (Fikri, Ismail, Ivan, LikYong, Chiltern, Leonard, Chris, Hisyam, ME!!)

i presume she must be shock that we gave her that miserable watch.

anyway she was more astonished that Ivan the thrifty guy will pay for the watch!

celebrated the June babies birthday.
i don't really like the cake. (sorry, no offence)

gotten all my results.
facom - 42/50
introca - 41/50
prnasc - 49/50
engmath2 88/100
you may say that i score well.
but my results are not up to my expectations.
hope i will get my 4.0 GPA for this first semester

deadline for introca and prnasc assignments are tomorrow.
kinda give up on them
they only hold a 10% weightage yet i took days to do
while term test hold 15% and it was completed in less than an hour
what the crap man
assignments sucks.

looking forward to Saturday.

leadership camp.

had some leadership camp today. 18-19June and it ends at 12pm on the 19th. however, due to some reasons.. we went home =D

anyway, the camp is super boring and dry. we played the normal ice breaking games and i will say it's more like a lecture camp teaching us all about leadership and how to bring the different clubs of engineering together.

having TPSU camp tomorrow!!! I'm in yellow group. there are a total of 5 colours. red, green, blue, yellow, orange. the camp will be held from 19-20June. 6.30pm on 19th June. ending, I'm not sure. i hope this will be a very fun one. =)

SYFC trip. sneaking in GV at TM to watch movie

TUESDAY POST (16/6)

went for SYFC excursion trip. it's actually a complete waste of my time. i couldn't enter anyway. I'm too short. also, my eyesight. my degree is too high! never mind, i can get a husband who is a pilot! HAHAS!! =D nah kidding. i don't wanna risk my lifelong happiness just to get a husband who is a pilot =D anyway, the SYFC is near Jalan Kayu. some of my classmates went to eat the roti prata there after SYFC.

ate at school while waiting for Cody. then Danielle, Trevor, Cody and i went to watch movie. yea watch movie. watched "ghost of girlfriend past". nice show. it's like romance and comedy! =D teaches us about relationship and love. like not to fool around and stuff. maybe 7/10. there are a lot of funnny scenes!! some ridiculous though =]

went home after this show because it's quite late but Danielle and Trevor wanted to watch another. so Cody and i left first. if there was enough time, i would watch "land of the lost" but sadly it's already late! =/ my parents are very strict with me too... so what can i do? just go home... =(

hmm... been feeling very lethargic ever since i came back from the kelong trip. though i took naps in the car, i just feel so tired. well, i promise to myself that i will sleep at 11pm from today onwards!

having SYFC trip tomorrow! no idea what we will be doing. hope it will be a fun trip! =D also, not sure if some secret plan is still on. perhaps it will be canceled tomorrow =/

first kelong trip in malaysia

came back from Malaysia!! went on kelong trip yesterday (Saturday, 13/6) morning till today afternoon and only arrived in Singapore in the evening.

Day 1 (13/6)

left home around 6am! began our trip to Malaysia. dad drove up to some state and we went to a jetty to board ferry. ferry trip took us half an hour to reach the kelong. the name of the kelong is "hotboys fishing kelong".

we dumped our belongings on our bed then began exploring around. its just like a bungalow just that its a single story on the sea. not long after that, they began serving our lunch. not bad. there were fish, meat, prawn, vegetable, soup, rice! quite a wide spread! it's better than some of our camps lunch with food serve not warm.

played card games after eating then parents taught my brother and i mahjong! FINALLY, i know how to play mahjong!! I'm not pro like my grandparents though. i would surely lose a lot of money while playing with them or else get scolded as i play slow.

the weather changed drastically. there was an impending 'storm' heavy rain. it's freaking cold! the wind practically could bite into your bones!

then dinner was served around 5 or 6pm! it's so fast! the lunch in my stomach haven't finish digesting! anyway, dinner was about the same too.

we walked around. there were tonnes of stars in the sky! my first time looking at thousands of stars! i LOVE the sky there. the sea breeze and stars. so cooool! anyway, the fluorescent lights are still quite bright! you wouldn't be able to see the stars very clearly.

had supper. they cooked noodles, fried rice and green bean soup! i liked the noodles and green bean soup! =D the green bean soup weren't so sweet. just great to me!

slept early! like around 10.30pm after supper!! will be like a pig if i stay too long in the kelong! it's just tooooo relaxing!


Day 2 (14/6)

woke up very early. auto body clock. woke up just early enough to see the sunrise! =D there were people waking up earlier than us, already fishing. or perhaps... they didn't sleep at all?

had breakfast. some kind of porridge. taste nice though. hot and nice! how great is that. better than camps. HAHA. oh ya anyway, there are free flow of tea, coffee and plain water in the kelong! so drink all you want! when the porridge are all eaten up, noodles came! and ya, whenever there are food that are left there like buffet for people to eat, during supper and breakfast, the food just like wipe out in the matter of minutes!

wait for a little boat to fetch us for island hopping! heading to Pulau Sibu. just a little island where we will spend 1 hour. luckily it's just 1 hour. there is practically nothing there except the clear waters at the shore. i didn't spend much time at the beach! i'm just toooooo afraid of sandflies! when a sand fly bite you, an average time to heal is 1 year!! 1 YEAR yes, it's a year not days or weeks!!! that's why i'm scared of sandflies!

back to kelong to bathe. ate lunch same dishes - prawn, fish, meat, vegetables, rice. different fish and meat through. yet, somehow the cooking style of vegetables and prawn are the same.

packed up and we head home!!! HOME SWEEEEEEEEET HOME! =D

flight simulator at singapore flyer

YEAAAAAA!! yesterday's flight simulator was FUN! it really made me wanna fly a plane. but! due to height and eyesight i wouldn't be able to seriously fly a plane! =(

the first who went for the flight simulator was Hisyam. he flew on a clear day. it seems so simple and easy. every instrument there are from a real aircraft except for the scenery. it was like a projector depicting the scenery. the scenery were so blurry and fake.

Danielle was second. she flew at night. i rather fly at night or during sunrise/sunset. the scenery will be so AWESOME for a real flight. imagine at night and you fly over cities with little lights below you. they will be like still fireflies. everything will seem like a toy from high above.

i was the last! i flew on a rainy day. you couldn't see a thing. only lightning and grey all over. it's like flying through thick fog. the visibility is very low. and i really meant VERY. i was like so blur. there were just too many buttons/gears/switches. you can practically press the wrong thing if you were groggy or blur. i had the privilege to park the aircraft at the terminal since i was the last!

when we end, it was already like 11.40PM. so late! if we were to take the MRT or bus, by the time we walked to the bus-stop or MRT, the last bus/train would have left. luckily Farid fetched Danielle and i home! actually some guy wanted to gave me a lift as he stayed in Punggol too, however i wasn't comfortable with that idea. i do not know him. anyway, i just wanna go home and i got home safely! =D

celebrating Leonard's belated bday

TUESDAY POST (9/6)

YEAAAAAAAAAAA!!! went out to celebrate Leonard's belated birthday!! =D Danielle and i were the main people! ahhaha! met at dhoby ghaut then catch a movie at the Cathay. planned to watch "Blood the last vampire". however, we didn't know that it was M18. AHHHHHH!! plan ruined! so in the end, we watched "State of Play" instead of "Hannah Montanna" which Danielle wants to watch.

Leonard owed us Ben's & Jerry! we bought a tub that cost $14.90!! 3 of us shared the tub! the flavour is Smores it's so nice when people share rather than eating alone. the fat content is freaking high too!! =(

"state of play" is a super long movie. about 2 hours plus! i like the plot though. but Dan doesn't like it. =/ she says it's boring! i like the plot because there are a lot of twists. should say 8/10. perhaps I'm used to this type of movies too! my parents like it and they watched these frequently. anyway, this movie is about some professional murder who was hired by some guy to kill others off that get into his way. =D the movie is something like "the international".

watched Leonard eat MacDonald meal. Dan and i were quite full. actually, i want to eat MacDonald because of the collectible cups. however, i didn't notice that the last cup will only begin on 11-17June. i thought it has started and already sold out! =/

Dan called LikYong to come along. waited for him while we walked around! she kept calling LikYong like some loan shark!! AHAHAHA =D

we began our long long journey. walking from Dhoby Ghaut to Clarke Quay! ahahhaha =D actually its long but then good thing is that we can walk and talk! Dan left Leonard and i out!! she talk to LikYong and they walked at super super fast speed like they were on booster mode!! it seems like a short distance though as there were a many topics to talk about rather than awkward silence or questions hung in the air waiting to be answered. =/ the walk is gooood BUT i was sweating like nobody business!!!! or i rather rain then i walk. i don't mind!! =D then I'll be singing in the rain. AHAHHA =D

rested at MacDonald's Liang Court. it is then i ate my 'dinner' which was already supper. actually i hadn't eat a proper meal since yesterday's Sakae buffet. they all planned to come my house! =/ I'm fine with it. yet when reaching the MRT. it was cancelled. well, it's better! my room is so messy and not prepared to be shown!

yeaaaaaa!!!! =D all took purple line! =D LikYong get down at BoonKeng. then we 3 stand till Punggol! from Punggol they took 34 back to Tampines! =D thanks Dan and Leonard! for accompanying all the way back to Punggol!! i lub lub both of you =D

ate sakae buffet. our appetite is so teeny weeeny small!! each of us ate about 10 plates ONLY!! =( wasted...

sneak into the golden village cinema without even paying a single cent! our first time doing it!! not that proud though. we were like so so afraid that we will get caught! luckily nothing happened to us. sneak into the first one. it was "Night at the Museum 2". we were like WHAT THE HELL! wrong cinema!!! we had watched before!!! then we camp inside for about 15min before making a move to another one! ahahaha. guess what show this time round? it's the "Aliens VS Monsters"!! GOOOOOD. LikYong and I haven't watch this yet. Danielle went in to watch about 30min before leaving. it's a hilarious show! =D hmmm.. 7/10? ahahaha funny man!!! i like the blue jelly blob the best!! it's so damn damn funny! AHAHAHA. because it have NO BRAINS!! you should watch if you wanna get some laugh! AHAHA =D the story also have a meaning to it. nice one! other than just pure laughing. i like the moral of the story =D

I'm into TPSU!! =D I've passed the interview. BUT BUT, we have to go through a camp! then in this camp, they will evaluate us all over again. this camp will be our final test to tell us if we are in! =)

anyway, yesterday, Sunday (7/6) i went out with Dominic and Josha for bowling. I'm seriously not going to Kovan for bowling games anymore. its lane is lousy. there are a lot of technical problems. also, their lane isn't the standard size. it's so much narrower. i prefer Safra! it's still the best! it's facility is always kept clean! =)

ok later, I'm going out with Danielle and LikYong to eat Sakae buffet at Tampines! =D yeayea!

anyway, CSY!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO GO OUT WITH YOU! =D

FRIDAY POST (5/6)

WOOOOOTS!!!! =D TERM TEST IS OFFICIALLY OVER!! aeronautical science paper is easy today. ok.. it's easy but I'm not sure if i would score well. no high hopes! =)

wanted to watch movie and cancel my decision of going to shisha with LiSong, Trevor they all. however, after some 'forced' persuasion, i just went.

the shisha place is just a stone throw away from Bugis. i guess LiSong and his friends went there frequently. they seemed to know the boss there well. anyway, i stick to Danielle and Trevor. I'm afraid of LiSong somehow... and i guess i pissed LiSong and friends as i was dragging the time by deciding to watch movie instead of shisha just now. =( feel bad.. ok but, at the shisha, it's my first time smoking. smoking water smoke or whatever kind of smoke. kinda smoke water vapour but with flavour and those chemicals that can be found in cigarettes. hmm... I'm not sure if i smoke the right way. i did exhale smoke through mouth but not from my nose. anyway, it's good to experience once. i wouldn't go there again. it's just not my type.. sorry to say that though. also, there was ALMOST a gang fight there.. i don't wanna talk much. gang fight isn't something very glorious.

i feel that it's ok to smoke. not that I'm influenced by my friends. just that as long as u try but not getting addicted should be ok. anyway, i wouldn't try drugs!! that, i will confirm that you will get addicted. anyway, i haven't tried smoking yet, as in smoke cigarette or cigar. i will NEVER try!! so DON'T tempt me yea? anyway, i had made a pact with my friend. i will not smoke. =D

went to uncle's house at Farrer Park to meet my parents and brother. that 30 storey condominium and he lives in the 30th storey! nice view there. my brother said i smell of smoke.. luckily my parents didn't find out anything!

3 papers had past. Engineering math, FACOM and INTROCA. i will say math and FACOM i have confidence. however, the INTROCA today make my hopes of getting a GPA 4.0 goes down the drain... =( anyway, since it's over, I'll work hard for the last paper PRANSC on Friday! =D

wanted to eat MacDonald to collect the cup, yet it went out of stock... AHHHH!!! WHY WHY WHY???

went out to play bowling today with Danielle after our INTROCA paper. since there is no exam tomorrow, we decided to relax for a day and continue studying tomorrow. =)
