not that i forget

i've forgotten when is the last time i came and left my mark here. it shows how long i've written something. i guess no one will ever come to my blog again. anw i hope so. if no one reads this, it will be better. dont expect anyone to read anyway. so how i've been doing? i guess great? but i'm quite fed up with certain things.

why is it that when i do well in things, parents seem to just react normal like "ok/maintain your standard/improve more" yet when i just do average, they seem to over react like "oh must be your boyfriend/ u havent been studying lately/ shouldnt hang out so much". it's not like i completely have no expectations. not like i'm gonna be a delinquent. i just feel kinda pissed with their reaction sometimes. shouldnt have done so well in the first place. causing everyone to set a high expectation of me and in turn i feel stressed whenever i'm not up to their mark. people always say not to compete with others but just do better and compare for yourself but why cant my parents see that way.

then again, why is it that sometimes when i want to talk to some people. they give the impression that they didnt want to talk and when i ask them so, they will just say nothing/ u can chat with me anytime, share with me anything/ we can be close friends. however their actions or text says otherwise. yet these people were once very dear to me. i want to talk to them but they just want to shun away. it is like those movies where you are running and panting and you can see your destination yet you cant reach it. why do these people want to do this?

sometimes it seems like i've forgotten everything but it's just that i didnt want to remember cuz whats the point of remembering and make yourself feel so hurt
also, i think i'm weird,
i feel very cold and very hot sometimes. i really meant very. it can even be on the bus, in school, at home.
do you ever feel like u are falling backwards also? even though i'm sitting and yea, sitting on a hard solid ground but sometimes i've gotta feeling i'm falling backwards like the floor is tilting. i think it is a psychological problem? i read it somewhere but i wonder is it serious?

no more m'sia flying trip!

ytd, got back the $150 refund of the Malaysia flying trip at Senai. Darren said that the cancellation is partly due to the recent flying incidents and thus approval for flight experience cannot be granted. what my guess was is they didn't settle fast enough. such things happen always. also, i havent got back my $50 refund from the previous M'sia trip. they are always slow with money. not they. everyone and i dislike it.
anw, today was a day well spend too :)

gonna head out to Vivo soon. it's raining =/ made me feel like lazing at home instead.

Shopping!!!!!

wowwwwwww i've made a hole in my mum's pocket!!! shopping day with my mum :) went to CityHall to buy my cosmetics which cost more than $300 bucks!! it's Shu Umera brand. and yea... first time did i realise that cosmetics cost so much!! a gay guy taught me the steps to put on the make up. he's good. i think gay guys really appreciate make up! for me, i don't give a damn. in fact, i feel better of without make up. but i got to put some to protect my face. he's smart too. somehow he knows that i dislike putting heavy makeup. he said "sporty people don't put much makeup". so agree with him. btw, Maggie saw me. didn't notice that she was there. Mag was working at a cosmetic booth. ate lunch at some ramen restaurant. doesn't taste that fantastic compared to the one at The Central. the portion is little too! anw, bought dress, nail polish, female box shorts sth like safety pants and it has tweety bird cartoon on it :( i want pooh!!

finally feel the anxiety for the upcoming piano exam. gotta pull up my socks!!

NEW STANDING SUSHI BAR OUTLET

on saturday evening, Howard opened his second Standing Sushi Bar outlet at Singapore Art Musuem, 8 Queen Street!! CONGRATULATIONS HOWARD :) feel happy for him!! the 'retired' part-timers went back to celebrate with him and his invited friends. regular customers, Howard friends and lal the chefs went to the new SSB outlet. it was a big day for Howard and a great day for everyone. feel happy for Howard that SSB had survived. SSB outlet at Raffles Place OUB centre did not close down like other outlets around the area. hopefully that more SSB outlet will be open. ALL THE BEST TO HOWARD!!

ytd, my uncle had his official housewarming. there were just too many ppl in such a teeny weeny space. though his house is a terrace. but no one went up. resulting in congestion and the first level was packed. =/ went early and left early. got nothing to do even if my family stayed on.
for F1 this year in Singapore, Alonso won again!! followed by Sebastien Vettel and Mark Webber? Hamilton was out for this race. awwww. anw i'm not a supporter of Hamilton so yea.. who cares.

EXHAUSTED

tiring. my eyes are shutting. wearing contacts feels so uncomfortable. =/ working for 2 consecutive days at 6am till around 2pm is killing me. the worse part is that i'm sleeping late cuz i went to seek fun after work.first time recieving my semester 2.1 results by SMS. i would say not bad. did improved. but no Z!!! :( sadness. oh well i hope next sem my results will improve and reach my target. had much fun at Tamp IKEA after work. :)

waoh waoh waoh. guess what crazy week i had!!! realized it has been a week since i last blogged.

16th
went to Universal Studios in Singapore. YOG volunteer appreciation day, hence the free ticket. queued for free F1 complementary ticket too. not sure when it will be coming. they said it will be mailed. but till now, i recieved none. anyway really enjoyed with SeokCheng and her friend, Serena or sth i cant rmb. i would definitely go back to Universal Studios again. perhaps few years down the road when there are new games. i've tried most of the main attractions and its really captivating.

17th
finally got my airport pass. got it done on the spot. however, got to complete a airport orientation training which i think was a waste of time!? most of the things thought are covered in my course somehow. the airport pass is great! there's a discount on certain items/ shops in the airport! great savings! ok.. sound like some thrifty person here... but i've been spending tonnes on food! :(

18th
had dental appointment. decided to put braces. dentist said no plucking of teeth was required, just merely aligning them. but it cost a bomb! =/ got to reconsider first!

19th
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STUART!!! my great friend birthday. not really great i would say. just that i've spend a huge amount of time knowing him and cumulated quite a large amount of unforgettable memories. ate dinner at Changi Village too! havent been there for quite some time. had a nice evening there :)

20th
celebrating an early 18th birthday for PeckYeng!!! ate dinner at Clarke Quay, HotStone with Chiltern, Nicole, Leon and of course the birthday girl. shared cost and bought her a white FOSSIL watch! Chilt plan failed. as usual!! he always do things in a way that cant fool others. just like how he cant tell a lie.

22th
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PECKYENG!!! OFFICIALLY 18!!! ~ ~ went down to NSRCC for P901 chalet!!! again, for the 3rd class chalet. the number of people staying over is getting lesser and lesser. i guess the enthusiasm of particiapting in the class chalet is going down. went down mainly cuz i paid for it. not because of anything else. missed the last shuttle bus out! told them (Chiltern, PeckYeng, Mostaq, Syafiqah) to walk faster. thinking that time is in their hands, they stroll =/ and so.. we MISSED the bus. saw the bus engine start up and drove away. chasing the bus was futile as it was too far away. out of desperation cuz i had JetQuay work at 6am, i flagged cars that came out of NSRCC. fortunately a BMW took pitty on us and drove us to Tanah Merah MRT. THANKS UNCLE!!! didnt copy down his license plate!!! THANKS A MILLION!!! i still rmb the BM is maroon in colour.
had my Philippines OCP jab too. both arm is aching :( right for tetanus. left for typhoid.
sorry to my parents. didn't celebrate mid autumn festival with them. :(

23th
first ever JetQuay job at 6 in the morning. killed me totally. didnt had a good night sleep. afraid that i would overslept. coupled with coming back late from chalet last night, my energy and brain awake level was at the extreme low. tmr having JQ shift at 6 again!!! arghh!!! i seriously dislike the way JQ handles stuff... too much to say and its confidential anyway. as least i got to protect my name! just a short note too. watched "Devil". quite a normal show. with a morale of the story. not terrifying enough. watched "Grown Up" after that!!! it's a fabulous comedy. only people who watched US drama or comedy would understand. a lot of in-depth jokes. ahhhh better get some sleep. guess gonna get chronic fatigue anytime soon :( :( :(

second day of holidays and i'm already going to work at JetQuay later. =/ but great, better than rotting at home, nowhere to go. at least 5 days of work at JetQuay and i'm gonna have $168. i guess my motivation will be the pay i'll be getting and perhaps the view at the airside of the airport.

ytd was a mundane day.. had AC meeting which totally wasted my time. they discussed all about the upcoming AC campfire night that will take place on the FIRST DAY of school when school reopen. =/ nothing to discuss about my part - logistics. i guess this is the bad part about meetings - wasting of resources. human resource and time. but u have to be there cuz u need to understand and know others job. piano at night makes me kinda worry about my upcoming exams.. worry worry. when will worry not come?

waoh last paper today! all the weights have lifted off my chest. watched Resident Evil with Hector and TingWei when i'm suppose to watch with classmates. they left the exam room early. so yea.. met early. the movie story plot is kinda expected. great graphics. story plot is boring though. guess there would be Resident Evil 5th movie base on the ending. i doubt i'll be watching. anw, walked from Somerset to Clarke Quay with TW after Hec left. its exhausting under the hot weather :( ate the ramen at the Central. it's delicious but i'm quite full hence i don't feel it taste fantastic.

feel so sian now. the kind of sian due to nothing to do after exams. =/ so many things lie ahead of me this week. no time to relax :( having AC meeting and piano later. JetQuay work on Wednesday. Thursday grandma house and to Universal Studio. Friday free, hopefully.

haven't blog for a long long time!! hmm preparing for exams... ok it's an excuse. i've time to blog but just dont feel like it. anyway nothing major has actually happened. the week before the exams, i just went out to study with either Hector, TingWei or Stuart. finally met Stuart after 2 years? ok not that we didnt meet. just that i've got the chance to bully him. also, went to my Popo house. she has officially shifted house to Queenstown! easier to travel there also. 5 min walk from Queenstown Mrt. how convenient is that! a few busstops away from IKEA too!

went back to Standing Sushi Bar with LikYong and TW the week before the exams. chef Roy wasn't there. pheww... the new SSB at the art museum is ready just that workers aren't employed and basic yet important stuffs like menu aren't done. Alex made sushi for us. let us try uni (sea urchin)!! it cost a bomb!! but cuz LY and i worked there, they gave us a huge discount despite eating quite number of dishes! ate white tuna too. not sure how much it cost. hmm.. i'll go back soon. miss all of them!

i guess i wont really be having much of a break. have quite a lot to do. Piano theory exam at the end of October. Philippines OCP trip during mid October plus the 3 days training right before the trip. trip to M'sia for flying with AMS days before the OCP trip. oh! not to forget my JetQuay job. =/ ok i brought all these all upon myself. cuz i got the option not to go for any of these.

no more PizzaHut!!

did nothing today. just went out to have lunch with Hector. ate at PizzaHut for lunch. not going to go pizzahut again. totally a waste of money. their portion of food is getting smaller ever. not filling at all. their dessert chocolate brownie with icecream cost $5.50. at the SK library cafe, the similar brownie cost $4.50 with more brownie and chocolate fudge. PizzaHut is a nono place to go for me.

this is the incident that i talk about in the previous post. the handle of the stretcher came off. that guy is my friend. he is afraid the SAF would see it. he say he would be so dead when the SAF know.

last day of medic cover at YOG

LAST DAY AT YOG!!! :)? or :(?
i'm not very happy about it. kinda sad :( gonna miss all those people and friends that i've met during the 3 days that i've work there. perhaps i would go back on Wednesday which is the last day of YOG gymnastic at Bishan Sports Hall. a lot of weird and ridiculous stuffs that had happened.

one of it was:
there was this Doctor there. he took picture with the athletes on Friday. (i guess at the Field of Play) we should not take pictures there. only when they are relaxing at the training areas or at the back view of the competition and when they want to take pictures with us. yet, heard that this Dr grab (i dunno what other better word to use) the athletes and took pictures with them at the Field of Play. from then on, photo taking with the athletes are prohibited. no cameras and camera-phone are allowed. yea no camera-phone, but who on earth now owns a noncamera phone!? i mean there are ppl who still owns it. but whats the percentage!? also, that Dr is suspended. =/

another was:
at Bishan Stadium (adjacent to Bishan Sports Hall.) there was an accident during the weekend. an athlete fell and was put on the stretcher. when the my friend (a medic) went to lift the stretcher, the handle of the stretcher came off. HAHA!!! so what happened was, my friend was holding onto the handle of the stretcher, and the stretcher was on the ground. the athlete mourn, scream louder. someone (a spectator) took a picture of what happened. the photo was sent to the higher management and the higher management wrote a letter with the photo to the medic office stating something like "don't you realise the picture is funny?" (sarcarstic way) HAHA!!! i think this is super hilarious. imagine what if the pic is on STOMP.


anw, in the evening went to SK to meet Hector. ate dinner and studied in the library. i think i'm addicted to banmian again. thanks to TingWei~


P.S almost lost the bet. luckily i remembered somehow. =/ couldnt eat MacDonald double cheeseburger and applepie during the lunch break at Bishan. AAAARRRGH!!! :( this bet is killing me somehow, even though it really works to deter me from eating fastfood.

played on the YOG trampoline in the training venue. freaking fun!! :) can really jump so high that you can feel the fear in you! first time i did my YOG shift that i really enjoyed myself and didn't want to leave.
met TingWei to jog at PunggolPark  in the evening. didn't jog for nearly a month! my standard dropped drastically. guess have to jog more to maintain my standard.

saturday.

went to Vivo with TingWei. window shopping and chat. Hector had SYFC. guess he played a prank on us. =/ anw, time pass so fast. gotta leave for my popo house. ate dinner with my grandparents near their new house. had durian as our dessert. durian was fantastic. perhaps i havent eat durian for months or nearly a year that i feel that it's so delicious.

today.
tried to study at home. went out to Marina Country Club to eat with family. EEEWWWW the food doesnt taste nice!! it's so so salty!! =/ wouldnt head there to eat again! nice evening. saw many stars and the moon is bright. it would be romantic to be with someone you like there.

tried to study. made brownie. went to TingWei house as suggested by Hector to play mahjong. i wanted to play bowling but both of them have spoilt arms. so have to do something that's much relax. in the end, we didn't know how to play 3 person mahjong. watched Prestige from the DVD that Hector brought. i've finally understand the show after watching and explaining from Hec. ate dinner that TW mum cooked. waaa it's delicious!!! didnt eat those dishes for quite a long long time! only if my parents have time cook such dishes, i wouldnt have to eat outside food with so much MSG! i hope to eat more of such homecook food. bus-ed home with Hec later in the night.

You know what's funny..?? I've grown so close to people i thought i would never talk to.. But i've drifted away from people who i thought i would be together forever.. Life is stitched up of unexpected events.. Tough times don't last.. Tough people do..

first YOG help out

first day helping out at YOG, Bishan Sports Hall. i did nothing there. slacked there and watched the Women gymnastic games. my job was spotter but was reallocated to medic. i've no medical knowledge. i had but i've forgotten. so in the end, i've no medical expertise. anyway, i find it weird that hiphop/ pop songs are played in olympic games? like Maroon5 songs, Airplanes by B.O.B.. ... i thought they are suppose to play soothing games to calm the athletes down? hmm.. besides, photographers, medics managers are all from china -.- ok maybe not all, but most. WHY!!?? going back to the athletes, some had a bad fall.. some girls fall with their legs split on the balance beam. ouch! i think guys will get spoilt or crushed balls. =/ the lunch there surprises me. pasta, bun, fried prawn and kitkat. at least it's edible. i think it's not bad base on other events i've went to. made new friends. well, temporary friends. since i won't be seeing them again i suppose. sang some songs to pass time cuz i was bored! =/ end my job at 1500!!

had piano in the evening. i guess i can do my Grade 7 theory well if i did the paper whole heartedly. i hope so and i want it to. really really wanna get distinction!

should i stop piano after this Grade 7 exam? since i've no passion to learn with all these piano exams coming.

pancakes!!!

went for the stupid YOG at Bishan with ChengJie. they told us they have enough people and that Spotters isn't really required. -.- totally waste of my time. they then asked us if we would like to get reallocated to other jobs at Bishan also. hmm.. guess i would consider. if the timing is good, i wouldn't mind.

bought KOI Icecream bubbletea. CJ first time drinking Koi.. she didn't know how to order.. (bang my head on the wall) went to shop with her. bought a blazer at G2000 for $50 and a cardigan at FOX. :) it's considered quite cheap! 70% off from G2k and 15% off from FOX.

met TingWei and his friends for kite flying at SK. Hector had his flying lessons. =/ unable to join us. my kite is with him also.. cant fly my sotong. anyway, the so called "highlight" of the day is -- TW COOKED PANCAKE!!! hmm so how's his pancake? i'd say TASTY for a beginner!! base on someone who cooked it for the FIRST TIME. but the roti prata pancake picture (TW first attempt) i saw really made my day. HAHA it's hilarious!! the pancake is flat like rotiprata with the burnt marks. hmm.. after tasting, it's delicious. i like the thicker pancakes. much chewy. i like to have that chewy feeling. i said it taste like 'pita bread'. something like that. in fact, i can't exactly rmb how does the pita bread taste like =/ ok.. go back to kite. we didn't manage to get our kites up. even though the weather was cloudy and drizzling, there's no stable wind. :( played poker cards in the end while waiting for Hector's flight to end.

ate dinner at the open space Kopitiam. TW friends left after that. companied Hec to drink. HOME SWEET HOME!!

thursday.
went to visit my popo and saw my uncle's new house at Queenstown. still on its way to completion but its nice! even the new fridge and washing machine are already there. maybe after my exam i'll just visit my popo more often!
oh good news! i found my piano exam theory paper. real unexpected.

friday.
had OCP - Philippines trip briefing in school. more or less the last briefing before a 'training' will be conducted days before we head to Philippines.
bus-ed to YOG bbq at Bishan in the evening with Nich.B and HongKiat. met ChengJie and SeokCheng and my secondary school friend. the food is great. nice time bbq-ing. Nich.B brought marshmellow home... really budget ttm!! shopped around Bishan Mall with JinRong when he met us after our bbq session. saw an Espirit jacket i like! i wanna buy. =/ but it cost nearly $130.

saturday.
preparation for upcoming AC subcom 2D1N camp on the coming Tuesday-Wednesday. whole day gone just by doing  game trials. its fun though but tiring. one thing is due to i slept real late the night before =/ but well, ate dinner with AC peeps and went home with KeMing.

sunday.
KITE DAY!!! met Hector and TingWei at SengKang. not a good day. very very sunny and not much wind. it's so unstable that after a few metres in the air, the wind stop. the kite drop. :( sadded. gave up flying. we picnic in the middle of the field. decided to head to airport for dinner. that's when the wind begin to pick up but well, airport here we come. ate Waraku pasta. bloated. the set we ordered is so worth that there are too many dishes to consume. headed to Crowne Plaza for cake dessert. D24 durian and Chocolate cake are the ones i like best. bus-ed home.

monday.
NATIONAL DAY!!! SINGAPORE IS 45 YEARS OLD!!! this year national day was at Padang. went to celebrate with Hector and TingWei. didn't really celebrate. we're not that patriotic. or at least i'm not. just came together to watch the fireworks. before Hector met us, we went to stroll around Orchard. did window shopping. went to eat Carl's Junior to meet Hector for dinner. then there we go, 3 of us, heading to watch our first firework together!!!

tuesday-wednesday.
AC first subcom 2D1N camp. we, 15 maincom are the organisers. heard that previously are all workshops, not camp. hmm.. camp was.. well.. fun to a certain extent. slept in the tent. it was warm, stuffy and got bitten by mosquitoes!! i seriously cannot take it. also, i just feel so sticky all over due to perspiring like mad despite taking a bath before i sleep. =/ moreover, i really lack of sleep there. slept around 330am and woke up around 615am!? :( i dunno how guys are going to survive in NS. i'm alr dying in this camp. just like suffering, felt like torture. break camp around 6pm. left early with KeMing around 7pm. slept anywhere. sitting, on the bus, practically anywhere i can rest without being disturbed!

thursday.
home the whole day. piano in the evening. Grade 7 Piano exam on October 30, Saturday, 2-5pm. it's confirmed. except the venue is yet to be told. i'm scared!!! still unsure of so many stuff! SAVE ME!

friday.
collected YOG uniform and pass at YOG HQ with TingWei. then took mrt to Changi airport to eat MacDonald for lunch. Hector came late!! i guess he was sleeping like pig. studied there with TW and Hec. well.. quite productive. Hec left hours later for badminton with his classmates.
after studying, TW and i wanted to head to the viewing mall to see planes. before that, TW went to try out the punching thingy set up at Terminal3 for YOG event. WAAAA he got more than 700 score!! 741 i guess. the record was 742!! just one more point he would have broke the record! the first time he tried (i guess was last saturday/sunday) the score was average~ but this time he got 741!!! seriously WAAAA. i didn't expect that! he tried 4 times. 1st 500+. 2nd 650+. 3rd 680+. 4th 741!!!! congrats to him! first medal in his 19years of life!! after the 'celebration' of his first medal (taking an instant print photo) we went to the viewing mall. SADLY it is under construction :( no planes to see!! unlucky us =/ perhaps next time. went to Crowne Plaza for their 50% off cakes again! tried the cake i didnt eat previous. some blueberry yoghurt cake. not bad. but still, D24 and chocolate cake is still the best. left early. bus-ed home!

P.S the war won't end!!! i haven't officially lose!! :) (you know who i'm refering to)

met SiYing for lunch at CP. ate at the Kopitiam near the SHELL petrol station in SengKang. we shared a pig throttle with rice, ate dessert and bought bubbletea. seems like we only meet only on holidays =/ but better than nothing!! had lots of fun and laughter with her. its like those old days in secondary school! eat a lot too when we hang out together. it's a bad thing. afraid to get fat :(

went to school to tend the booth that recruit people for our AC subcom camp that is happening like next week 10-11 August. pathetic amount of people. only 40+ people had registered. played Chinese chess to pass time while at the booth. then walked around Bedok reservoir for the last iwalk programme. met Hector while walking around Bedok reservoir. suppose to wake him up so that he could run but i forgot. luckily he manage to wake up himself. =/ i'm always afraid of these things... afraid that i'll forget to text or call someone to wakeup/ do things. sometimes i have trouble reminding myself already. the sunset at bedok reservoir is really really nice. the sky is very clear and the sun is so orange. anyway, had AC meeting. already start to plan for upcoming AC Night Cycling and AC Campfire. =/ i dislike it. one event after another. when can i have a break.

I'M PISSED THAT I CANT FIND MY PIANO EXAM 2009 GRADE 7 PAPER. SERIOUSLY DAMN PISSED AND SAD NOW!!! NO IDEA WHY AM I THAT FURIOUS. ANGRY AT MYSELF? BLAME MY MUM? WHERE ARE YOU BLOODY @*#$&^!@(#*%@ PAPER!!! HAVING PIANO TMR EVENING AND I'VE NOT DONE THE HOMEWORK AND NOW IT IS GONE. THAT PAPER COST 8BUCKS. SERIOUSLY WTH. I'M TRYING REAL HARD TO RECALL WHERE IS IT BUT IT IS FUTILE. MY MEMORY ALWAYS END AT THAT POINT AND I CANT RECALL WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THAT... IT'S A TOTAL BLANK.
