SATURDAY POST (28/3)

watched "Tale of Despereaux". it is about rat and mouse and that they are 2 very different animals. the show is not bad but i don't know why the magazines rate is 2/5 stars if I'm not wrong. it is mainly talking about this 'soup day'. besides, if you are sad you will pass on the sadness. also, when you are sad, you tend to hurt others unknowingly which is badddd. =( this show express a lot about feelings and it has nice moral of the story. i will rate 7.5/10? i quite like this show. nice expression of feelings and i learn a few words in it. it is more to literature where they like to express clouds and weather with those words. those words.. you should know what words I'm talking..

ate dinner at "Outback" with parents. it is famous for its steak. but after eating, i doubt so. it doesn't give me the feeling of wanting to go back to eat again.

i like the cheese fries with bacon and their bread. its delicious!

math lesson

FRIDAY POST (27/3)

now, its mathematics lesson, super boring. the teacher is teaching us some kiddy mathematical sums. factorisation and expansion which we had done in our 4 years in secondary school. when we had completed, we couldn't leave until most of the students had finished. the teacher is super slow too. his brain is very 'old fashioned'. i mean his thinking.

glad that we finished in the early afternoon. met HowCher and Derrick then went to their school - JunYuan Secondary. they went back to 'coach' their choir juniors for the upcoming SYF. their choir is very slack. compared to CVSS military band, we will get hell lots of shit if we were slacking like they were. but, if band were like that, then i would go for every lesson. because in that case, we could talk and play and do other stuff.

their choir singing needs lots of improvement for the SYF. their tone and stuff. the guys singing is the worst!! and they lack of guys in choir. =/

ate dinner at "日本村", the restaurant at the Tampines swimming complex. i wouldn't dine there again. i prefer Sakae sushi buffet which provides desserts, fruits and a bowl of simple udon. the "日本村" sushi is just normal, not very nice in fact. and DON'T TRY their udon noodles meal. it is horrible!! the udon isn't like the real udon. it is elastic and totally weird! however, i would say the best thing is their dessert. if you want to eat something there, eat their DESSERT ONLY. their "mango classic" is nice. strawberry isn't nice at all because it is frozen and when you bite the strawberry, it's just like biting ice that is soft. played some stupid games when we were eating dessert. we couldn't finish it so the loser will have to eat one cube of jelly. hahas =) the game is fun and its totally hilarious.

last day of robotics. having competition today. they had change the prize.

yea, all are given in CASH! but we have to split the prizes among our group.

this is the car that all of us had been working on. we have to program so that it goes in the circuit.

in the end i got the consolation prize, so when i split with my friend, i only have $10. but since i help the another group, i had an extra $2 from them. actually, my robot car completed a circuit, but that idiot timer press wrongly and in the end it was not timed. what the heck. if not i may get 3rd or 4th. =/

first robotics lesson. bro finish his grade 7 exam.

first robotics lesson. morning was terrible!! i don't understand what Mr Yong, our robotics teacher was talking. he was simply droning on and on about computer programming, hardware and stuff.. i had no idea about anything. now, i prefer Problem Solving than this!!

afternoon, we began programming our robotic car. we are having a mini competition. our robotic car have to complete a circuit within the shortest time. there would be about 9 teams, each team 2-3 people. 4 teams will win $50 CASH!! YEA CASH!!! so i work with a girl. however, she wont be present on the last day. if i win, i get the $50!! ahaha =) nah.. i won't be that bad, i will split. =)

my brother went for his grade 7 piano practical. did badly i guess. he wasn't very relieved or happy after the exam. i reckon he had the same feeling i had after i took my grade 7 exam. he told my piano teacher that he did horribly because he played a few wrong notes and he had the feeling he did not do well for the aural. well, all the best to him..

i tried making the fireball. quite a failure. it did burn. BUT it was wrong.. i did not get the lighter fuel, the liquid fuel in the "youtube" video(i put it up in my previous post). i use the gas(it is gas when it is in contact with air, not a liquid) from the lighter we used during lantern festival. when the gas is in contact with the cotton ball, ice vapour was formed. we suppose to use liquid fuel so that the cotton would absorb the fuel and it will burn perfectly. also, in fact, if it could be made perfectly, we can hold the fireball instead of using the scissors.. anyway, my brother and i tried in the toilet, while our parents is in their room. hahas =)

last lesson of Problem Solving. guess what time we were released?! it was 11.25AM!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! due to the sudden early release, i didn't know where to go. i didn't want to go home either. so ya.. went out with TimothyTeoh, Khairul and their friends to Bugis.

walked around Bugis. quite empty, unlike weekend when throngs of teenagers crowd there to shop. headed to KFC to eat our lunch. it was still early after lunch - 2.30pm. decided to catch a movie.

walked to downtown east from PasirRis interchange. along the way, we bullied HaiSing school students. hahas! =) like we shouted HaiSing and some cheers. example, HAI HAI HAI(HIHIHI) SING SING SING, HIIIIII SING!!! those students looked at us. but well, who cares? because i don't.

watch "Race to Witch Mountain". NICE show!! about humanoid aliens, sci-fi, and superpowers, government agent and the once wrestler - the Rock. quite action pact and a little about science. there was a part where they briefly mention about space, wormholes, chaos theory. hmm.. this show isn't draggy. the beginning was already interesting! it is a humourous show too!!!!! well, those who understand will laugh at those parts. hahas =) 8.5/10. i will recommend you to watch this show.

went home after the show =) great time with Timothy, Khairul and their friends.

SATURDAY POST (21/3)

went out with my guild friends. first time. there are 3 girls including me, 4 guys. girls first - Jolyn*14 and WeiTing*20. guys - Aaron*21, Tony*18, Abram*17, and WeiTing's friend*20(i forgot his name).

at first, we are all very cold. like we needed some ice breaking game. then slowly the ice melted. Jolyn was so unfortunate!! her sandals spoilt. she bought a slipper from Watson then we went to Cathay to buy tickets for "Coming Soon". Abram was always alone!! he walked alone and walked so fast. perhaps he was a little different from us? he smoked and seemed very emo. WeiTing and her friend left then we went for our movie.

"Coming Soon" was scary. there were moments when i thought something was about to happen but nothing came out. then when i thought everything was safe and sound, some terrifying thing happened. some parts were hilarious! it was a short movie. lasting less that 90 minutes. if I'm not wrong, the director is the same as the movie "Shutter"? certain parts of the film had similar scenes like "Shutter". this show, 7/10. perhaps I'm sort of 'immune' to horror shows. it doesn't scares me that much. to others, they find it scary. Jolyn was like screaming.. i seriously don't like people who screams in theater.

walked around after the show before bidding goodbye. Aaron and Jolyn stays in Hougang. glad to have friends to company. =) nice outing though. just hope that WeiTing and her friend could stay longer next time!!

this is total nuts. 9AM-6PM?! how about my sleep and rest time?? anyway, this is just a rough timetable. i may get release early. like today, I'm released about 3pm. the earliest school that is released. by the way, there are only 18 engineering students in DPA. including me there are 5 Aviation Management and Services students!! that's a lot you know!! i don't understand why they want to take in so many AMS students. then, there are 54 business students, 11 applied science students in DPA. I'm not sure about IT and design.

in the morning, our teacher just keep droning on and on!! some of us even fell asleep! stupid problem solving techniques... I'm looking forward to Robotics and Mathematics!! i hope when the day comes, i would not get disappointed. it is only after lunch, things get a little interesting.

under the hot afternoon sun, an engineer were given a task to measure the height of a cliff. how can the engineer measure the height of the cliff?[do not need to be super accurate] (hint-you don't require any high tech equipments. it does not cost anything to measure it)

answer: since you will know your height, measure the height of your own shadow. then measure the height of the cliff shadow. use your height shadow ratio to the cliff shadow. =) =) get it??? it is just using ratio method. if you don't get it, forget it. =/

learnt how to smug

wanted to go Changi hospital to visit Wyman, a primary school friend. he had the metal things in his arm removed today. but since he got discharge early, i didn't went to visit him. anyway, i was happily using the computer and i was kinda lazy to go out.

i learn how to smug in maple!!! so happy!! it doesn't matter if your internet connection is wireless or not because it doesn't require you to plug out wires. guess how? just press 3 keys. "cxz". press it fast. BUT you got to put some things on the 3 keys. hehe I'm not telling!! =) if everyone knows how to smug, then it wouldn't be fun anymore. right? hahas =)

movie street fighter the legend of ChunLi

about 2am when i finish this show!! just finish watching "Street Fighter: the legend of Chun Li". it was about 91.56min, without advertisement. it is much better than "Dragonball Evolution". both movies they did show a few parts of "ki" - internal energy. for 'street fighter', they only show a bit, about 3minutes in total but the 'dragonball' they keep showing!! anyway, 'street fighter' is about this evil organisation that wants to control a whole slum area in BangKok. but before that, years ago, a good guy - father of ChunLi, was kidnapped years ago to help this organisation with some works before they get into control of the slum area. when ChunLi knows what is happening, she decided to rescue her dad and prevent this evil organisation from taking slum area. then at the last part, there is a funny thing, (don't continue to read if you want to watch) ChunLi twist the bad guy head 180 degrees. so the body is front while the head is facing back.

i will give 7/10. i feel that this is those typical movies where someone is trying to prevent an evil organisation from doing harm to innocent people. it is like James Bond show where James Bond prevents a bad organisation from doing harm to innocent people. the nice thing about the show is fighting scenes. it is interesting to see them fight without weapons. people who like fighting can watch if they want and if they don't mind the plot being so cliche.

out with primary school friends again!! planned to go East Coast Park to cycle but plan was canceled due to the heavy rain. so.. we headed to parkway parade. there is nothing to do there!! no cinema, no pool, only a pathetic arcade - Timezone. played a few games there. well, actually David and i only played one which is the basketball. because HowCher want us to play... oh ya! today another new friend came along. he is HowCher "kor", called Derrick.

after much persuasion, went to Marina Square. HowCher didn't want to go there because he is wearing sandals. oh please!! sandals only at least not barefooted!!

watched "Dragonball Evolution." it's funny but not worth watching... the show is more for kids. i will say 5/10. it is about this evil guy, Piccolo want to use the 7 dragonball to destroy the world. so this good guy, Goku got to save the world by getting the 7 dragonball before Piccolo gets it.

ate Subway. then we 4 sat there and talk about our life. mostly, our primary school life in Poi Ching School. but, Derrick doesn't know anything because he is in GongShang Primary.

went home after chatting. =) always the outing wasn't fun at the beginning but at least we end it with joy. hahas =)

IT fair

SUNDAY POST (15/3)

before heading to IT fair, i got scolded by my parents. guess what i was scolded for? for not knowing more about computers!! it is so ridiculous!! anyway, my dad brought me there. luckily the radio is invented. if not there would just be an awkward silence in the car.

bought a HP laptop and a CANON camera. MY camera!! because i bought it with MY OWN money. laptop cost $1,299 while the camera cost $319. now, the HP laptop is out of stock so i have to wait for them to deliver the laptop to my house. there's only one standard colour for the laptop - black. i got a gold colour camera. actually, wanted light pink, but the gold and pink doesn't make any difference. the colour tone of gold is only slightly darker.

saw some of our schoolmates working there. like olivia, stuart, georgina, zhixiang, etc.

first time eating Carl's Jr. i love the fries!! anyway, if i were to ever buy it again. i can share 1 set with another person. the portion is so freaking huge!! it can kill me if i eat all!

my camera comes in handy when we have a little celebration for my dad's birthday. his birthday is tomorrow but he is going overseas tomorrow. so ya.. had a family photo.. but it is kinda ugly so didn't wanna post it here =/

went to Bugis with my mum to do some shopping. bought lots of clothes! anyway, i still dress simple when i go poly... quite a trouble to go poly.

ate dinner with cousins. my uncle bought a new house at Farrer Park. it is a condominium called "City Residence" i think. he bought one of the unit from the highest storey. 30th floor. i like the view!! you can see the CBD area, 'Takashimaya' at Orchard. my uncle even bought a super good binoculars. my cousins use it to look at Bangaladesh half-naked because this condominium is just 2-3minutes walk from 'Mustafa'.


perhaps going to IT fair tomorrow.. i cant really trust my parents words. what they say they may not do it. i WANT a laptop!!! ok.. not want. i NEED!!! my house desktop is dying. it keeps shutting down automatically. anyway, hope i could get a lappy!

FRIDAY POST (13/3)

watched "Marley and Me" yesterday. it is something like the Korean movie "10 promises to my dog". the show is mainly about the dog and its family. they will go through many things together. it is not those show where dogs talk or the dog is a hero. anyway, this is a TRUE story.

before going to school today, i watched "Pink Panther 2". it is a comedy. funny show! =) but i would say that it is stupid that makes it funny. ok.. for example (skip to next paragraph if you want to watch the show), in the show, the guy climb into the house without even bother to hide from CCTV. during that time, there are a lot of funny acts. it's damn stupid!! even a thief knows how to look out for CCTVs!

in school, did my best for POC presentation. last day having lessons with my classmates. next Thursday all of us will be having faculty lessons. it will be engineering students together, then business students together, etc. anyway, my class is having class chalet at Sentosa!! =) i am so damn looking forward to it!! it will be 3D2N! i will be staying overnight outside for the first time in my life!! how wonderful it is!! =)

(actually, i guess the show is very nice but I'm sleepy and i didn't listen to what are they talking so i cant give much comments.. =X)

DANG!!! today was one of the BAD BAD day i had!!
1. i forgot to bring my phone to school.
2. i forgot to bring my psychology work to hand in!! (actually, i didn't know its due today at all)

then guess what! i want to go home to take my work to hand in, but the lecturer say he either minus marks from the attendance list(class participation) or he minus marks from my individual work (i hand in late work). i was like WHAT THE HECK!! want to chop him into bloody small pieces! can't he cut some slack?

some of the group presentation were great! i asked a lot of questions... scared that they will shoot me with questions tomorrow. anyway, i am well prepared!! or so i think i am..

anyway, we went to IKEA to have 'class' dinner. this week is the last week we are having lessons as a class. tomorrow, some are not free so ya.. we have a dinner today.

bride wars

city of ember is not very interesting. i feel that it is more for children. kinda like a fantasy show.
i like saw 1 plot. it was unexpected! the rest of the series gets boring... but i would say the torturing method is creative.
bride wars was ok to me.. not my kind of show.

i hope my life can be much interesting. i feel that I'm kinda disconnected with secondary school life and my poly life is not everything... even though the class is bonded but it's only in school. after school, we are on our own. going separate ways. perhaps, i need to find a close friend?? if not i feel like i am a fish, swimming in the ocean. occasionally, other fishes come along and leave.. i don't know why i feel this way. maybe life is like that?? sometimes we will feel lost and alone. i don't mind being alone but now.. the situation is different. it is not the alone, lonely feeling. it's hard to explain..

there's FUN in school!!!!!!!!! i like my class!!! GaoChang and i are our class(UNO) representative for DPAig!! =) we sign up our class for DPAig without all their consent. HAHAS!

after my project, we went to TM Pizzahut to eat. those guys- TimTeoh, GaoChang, Zach drink the Pepsi as though they were having competition. all they want was to refill the drinks because it is free flow but they drank like MAD!! we were still not full after eating. head to PastaMania because another group wants to go there. we watch them eat while making a hell lot of jokes! then, we were off to IKEA. ate ice-cream and walk around. bunny-HuiXuan had not been to IKEA before!! not even at the Alexander one!!

dreams

days ago, i had a weird dream. i was pregnant. i was happy. then suddenly, the water bag broke. my tummy was like back to normal. like super flat. like i wasn't pregnant before. no babies. i cried. cried badly. then i woke up.
in the first place, i don't like babies. i don't know why i had that dream. i don't want to be pregnant either. i just don't understand it at all.

now i'm having a busy time for psychology project. this Friday will be the last psychology lesson. it's up to me to perform well for my presentation.

screw up Japanese role play.. the props were wrong. the speech was wrong. lines were forgotten. everything was a mess. complete mess. good luck to myself.. envy first and last group. it was perfect. or so it seemed to me. this was the last day of Japanese lesson.

DANG!!! only 36/40 for Japanese listening comprehension!!! one got 40/40! WHAAAT THEE HEELLL. anyway, Japanese is getting on my nerves. the role playscript was rejected by teacher. half of it was scraped off! I'm getting pissed. if i could get A for Japanese it will be a BIG surprise. chances of getting the surprise is super uber slim.

doing the Japanese script can literally drive me nuts and send me to my grave. there's teamwork.. but it's crap. there's communication. but it almost turn into a fight. there's some dumb.. who give impractical ideas. it's the last week of Japanese. so ya.. should just hang on till I'm safe once more, away from all these stress.. stress that i guess i give to myself. trying to be the best.

i got 50/60 for my Japanese test! highest was 58, lowest is 36. i still felt that i did badly. i should get 55 and above. anyway, this is only 30% out of the 100%. still a lot more to go. having Japanese listening comprehension tomorrow. hope it will be easy.

i just know that Kelly in my class got 4 for L1R4. crazy man!! in that case she could go to top 5 JCs! anyway, there are some people in my class who did badly like 10+ for L1R5, while others did quite well like Sabrina or Kelly.

went out to do project. this is what i told my parents. however, the truth is i went to Ang Mo Kio with JunMing for his body check up. it's a mandatory thing when we enter polytechnic. saw Collin and Melvin Wang there. the queue is super super long! took about 1 and half hour before everything is done.

ate lunch with JunMing. he always bully me. say this and that. I'm the pathetic victim...

dad brought mum and i to eat crab noodle at Ang Mo Kio for dinner. Ang Mo Kio again!! do not crave for crab now whenever i see it, i don't even feel like eating... when we eat, my parents talk about studies again. i don't understand why. our conversation always revolve around my studies or else my brother's. when can they give me a break? they always ask me to do well and get scholarship if possible. i know and i am trying my best. i already feel so dumb in my class.. what else they want me to do!?

i want to go back to the past. when I'm a child again. perhaps when i was 5? in that case everything seems perfect. I'm innocent. young. learning. best of all, my beloved grandma is always with me every single day. i miss her. i love her. a lot...
